Rough one — got taken out in the first 23 seconds before the zombies even arrived! The arena had a creeper and spider already present at spawn, and I had no armor, only 10 health. My instinct was to move away from other players before pillaring up, which walked me straight into the danger. Lesson learned: with existing mobs and no armor, PILLAR UP IMMEDIATELY — don't move laterally first. Also need to clear nearby mobs before doing anything else in survival challenges like this. Once the zombies are here, you need to survive for the rest of the challenge (3 minutes). You have to be alive at the end of the run to win.”
